If the shoes fit!
Megyn Kelly called Rachel Zegler “a pig” after the star of Disney’s “Snow White” reboot snidely said she wished President-elect Donald Trump’s supporters would “never know peace.”
The conservative firebrand gave Zegler, 23, and Disney a piece of her mind during her SiriusXM show Thursday — calling out the media giant for hypocrisy and the young star for her poorly articulated political views.
“Imagine this, a Broadway actress who said, ‘Biden supporters, may Biden and Kamala never know peace.’ That person would be fired so fast it would make your head spin,” said Kelly.
“Hello, Disney! You’re going to have to redo your movie again because this woman is a pig and you fired Gina Carano for far less than this nonsense.”
“There’s something wrong with this person,” Kelly said of Zegler.
Gina Carano was fired from the Disney hit “The Mandalorian” in 2021 after she compared the treatment of Jews in Nazi Germany to the treatment of conservatives in contemporary America.
Zegler plays the eponymous Disney character Snow White in the upcoming remake of the classic cartoon.
The Gen-Z star took to Instagram in the wake of the presidential election to call out Trump supporters for “tending” the country in a negative direction.
“I find myself speechless in the middle of this,” she wrote in an Instagram Story. “Four more years of hate, tilting us towards a world I don’t want to live in. It tilts us toward a world in which it will be difficult to raise my daughter.
“There is a deep sickness in this country … shown in the sheer number of people who came forward for this man who threatens our democracy,” she continued.
“Trump supporters and Trump voters and Trump himself will never know peace,” the young star concluded.
Zegler, who wrote that she feared for her “daughter,” is not married and has no children.
Last year, Disney decided to delay the release of Snow White – which has a budget of $209 million – after fans mocked the film’s depiction of the seven dwarfs.
The awakening production had replaced the traditionally similar brotherly seven dwarves with an all-encompassing cast that was diverse in both race and size.
The producers sent the project back to the drawing board, where they substituted CGI dwarves for the initially poorly cast actors.
Zegler made headlines earlier this year when she unveiled her illiterate rendition of the fairy tale first written by the Brothers Grimm in the 19th century.
“I mean it’s not 1937 anymore,” Zegler said in a rerun of the 2022 interview at the Disney D23 Expo. “She will not be saved by the prince and she will not dream of true love.”
She is also quoted as saying that the original parts of the film were “weird” and that the prince in the story “literally imitates” Snow White.
Zegler received massive backlash for his witty commentary on the classic narrative at the time.
She also caused controversy in August when she posted “Free Palestine” on X after the first “Snow White” trailer was released online.
Zegler recently celebrated opening night on Broadway as Juliet in Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.
“Snow White” is expected to be released in cinemas in 2025 after three years of production. The film was written by “Barbie” director Greta Gerwig and directed by Marc Webb.
